Yesterday we had a passionate discusion about the situation in Congo. Imade a number of us want to find out more. Knitters from the Hope Project brought a lot of items they had knitted. It was awonderful array of things from hats, slippers, shawls and gloves. We hope they will come again.

We also welcomed representatives from “BIRCH” which is a new project in Birmingham helping those who are destitute.

Finally we had a variety of food to eat. Some of it was Congolese.
